CONFLICT  MATERIALS  POLICY STATEMENT

May 15, 2013

Synergy Systems, LLC condemns the ongoing conflict and resulting humanitarian disaster in the Democratic Republic of the Congo which is financed in part by trade in the ores from which tin, tantalum, tungsten, and gold (3TG) are derived.  In furtherance of this, Synergy Systems LLC is committed to work toward eliminating from our products 3TG that support armed groups in the DRC or in the surrounding countries and the human rights abuses they perpetrate, including widespread forced labor and sexual violence.  In addition, Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2010 requires public companies to inquire into the origin of 3TG in their supply chains and to report on the reasonable inquiry or due diligence they conduct to determine whether they are conflict-free.

Synergy Systems LLC is not a publically traded company and as such is not required to report 3TG under Dodd-Frank.  However, many of our customers are registered with the SEC as public companies and must comply with the Conflict Materials Rule.  Accordingly, Synergy Systems LLC will not purchase products that contain any conflict mineral from the Democratic Republic of the Congo or any adjoining country or, if any product does contain a conflict material, such products must be DRC conflict free.
